Couple of hacks

Hi there ^_^

Have either of these been done before?
Not sure how much work these'd be... So if they haven't been done and its too much trouble then my bad for suggesting it

1. A hack for an extra tier of sub-forums. A sub-sub-forum.

2. A hack for a sort of sub-admin. An admin with normal power over members but only having the forum admin powers (creating/deleting/editing forums & viewing all forums regardless of access) in a single category.
Basically, I'd want someone who couldn't see or do anything to the forums I didn't want them to, but had free reign over their own section. Make sense? Is that even feasible?

Anyway, this might be a silly suggestion, I don't know. I'm new to this :S

There's nothing like this for xmb. I would think it would be a massive hack to write and that's probably why there isn't one. I've seen this requested before years ago. So I would say chances are slim to none for this one.

Why not just make whoever is an Administrator the moderator over certain forums? You would do this by going into your board's admin panel --> Moderators and input their name into the text boxes for whatever forums you'd like them to moderate over.

Damn. No, moderatorship just doesn't cut it for my needs.

Thanks though - at least now I know that particular way round my problem won't work.

Oh, one other little question: Is it possible to make it so you can collapse and expand categories?

This would require a huge amount of work and is ideally suited to the core code. Perhaps suggest it at the XMB Forums?
