Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I couldn't start a thread in the transfer request area. Ok my question is, as I do not want to mess anything
up, is I just want to change the url of my forum. So in the request area how would I go about that? I know I could do it myself by adding a folder and
all but I'm not sure what to add into it and how to change the database url and all that. So that's why I want to request a transfer instead. So
instead of it being charmedrpg.com I would like it charmedrpg.com/forum/

That's not really a board transfer. A board transfer goes from one server to another server. What you're wanting to do is just relocate your forum
within your domain. Just create a folder called forum then just move all the files to the new folder. Then open the config.php file and change the
$fullurl variable to match that of the new forum location.

Is a transfer to another domain/hosting doable by someone like me who only knows how to transfer folders through FTP and a little bit about MySql.
Is there some sort of How To Directions anywhere? JW
Ive got some members that keep bugging me about when the site will be up and on the new server, hahaha no rush they can always wait. Just hate
informing them of wrong info.
