Effective immediately, support for XMB forums versions 1.9.7 and prior will be discontinued. Users with forums that are not version 1.9.8 are urged to
upgrade if they wish to continue receiving official support from the XMB team. If a support request is made regarding a non-1.9.8 forum, the topic
will be closed and you will be asked to upgrade, no further explanation (or resolution to your problem) will be provided. Support will continue to be
provided for users who are attempting to upgrade to 1.9.8 from previous versions.

Fortunately XMBG has never supported 1.9.6 RC1, RC2 or 1.9.7 RC3. However, support for 1.9.5 Final, 1.9.5 SP1, 1.9.6 SP1 will continue here. 1.9.8
will be supported once it goes final.

I understand that. I'm just letting people know that they can still receive support for their boards that aren't 1.9.8. I've always overlapped for
a period of time and usually phase out the older versions once the latest version has taken a substantial hold in the community. Just don't want
people to confuse XMB policies with XMBG policies.
Thanks for the update. I saw it a few days ago at XMB but haven't gotten around to posting it yet.

K, I posted it here so it would not confuse others but cool. As for the reasoning behind it. Supporting outdated and unsecured builds is against the
grain as a development team. 1.9.8 is to date the most stable and solid release of XMB ever. The point is to ensure that people move to the latest
version so it does take a substantial hold in the community.
